When Kevin Weil, the Chief Product Officer of OpenAI, posed a simple yet profound prompt, “Draw me a picture of what you think my life looks like right now”, it sparked an idea.

What better way to reflect on our journey than to visualise it? This question inspired me to explore how my life could be encapsulated in a single image, blending my world’s professional, creative, and personal aspects.

Life often feels like a delicate balance of responsibilities, passions, and ambitions. In my case, it’s a mix of:

  • Creative Innovation: Capturing stunning visuals with drones and pushing creative boundaries with videography and photography.
  • Professional Growth: Building a business, strategising with my team, and using technology to deliver exceptional results.
  • Personal Fulfilment: Finding moments of joy with family, music, and the simple pleasures that keep me grounded.

The image accompanying this post captures these elements beautifully. It showcases the modern office space where ideas come to life, a breathtaking outdoor location where I work with drones to film stunning landscapes and a quiet personal corner that reminds me of what matters most.

This exercise reminded me of the importance of pausing to appreciate where we are in our journey. Life isn’t just about achieving milestones; it’s also about embracing the journey, finding joy in the small moments, and staying true to what inspires us.

Visualising your journey can sometimes offer clarity and insight into what truly matters.

What about you? What would it look like if someone were to draw a picture of your life right now?

Try it for yourself!

Best,

Rodrigo Branco Matsumoto.
